You're probably already familiar with the term high blood sugar. High blood sugar, also known as hyperglycemia, occurs when the glucose (sugar) levels in a person's blood exceed the normal range.

- Excessive FatiguePersistent or excessive fatigue can be a sign of high blood sugar or diabetes. In diabetics, the body’s inability to use glucose efficiently can result in a constant feeling of tiredness due to the cells' lack of energy.
- An increased frequency of urination, known as polyuria, is another common symptom of high blood sugar or diabetes. The body tries to eliminate excess glucose through urine, resulting in more frequent urination.
- Blurred VisionBlurred vision can be a symptom associated with high blood sugar or diabetes. High blood sugar can damage the blood vessels in the eyes, particularly in the retina, leading to conditions like diabetic retinopathy, which can cause blurred vision.
